Rest Rest This year I am taking a "reboot break" away from my career to re-evaluate my goals and directions. I'm going to be talking about why I'm doing that and how it's going so far. (September 2012)
Lectures, Pitches Lectures, Sales Pitches, and Dialogues: This is a talk about talking. Me talking to you, no multimedia, no special effects, noPowerPoint slides. You talking to people out in the real world, without even a laptop or an iPhone. Just our own minds, eyes, ears, and mouths.
Supernatural World Living in a Supernatural World: Transcending our natural limitations is part of our human nature. The first cave person to strike two flints together and make fire on demand was living in a “super-natural” world. We have been making our world more “supernatural” ever since.
Tolerant Believer The Tolerant True Believer: Strongly held, clearly defined beliefs shape our identities and provide rules for our communities to live by. They can also make our thinking rigid and blind us to the common ground we share with those whose beliefs differ from ours.
