A Modular Approach to Optical Wireless Communication Phosphors

Optical wireless communications offer plentiful, secure bandwidth to meet the growing demand for high-speed, rapid-response data transmission. A new class of materials for OWC color-converting phosphors, based on metal-organic frameworks, sidesteps harsh reagents and synthesis conditions and high fabrication costs of current phosphor materials.
